If submitting a unit for warranty please ensure you bring or send a copy of the Proof of Purchase, as required by the Manufacture Warranty policy. If you are mailing the unit, such as a Rigid 18volt Battery Operated Drill, the following items are needed to repair the unit and helpful in submitting the claim.
a. The unit
b. Battery and charger
c. Proof of purchase
d. A note or brief letter with name, address, a good phone number, a description of what the problem is with the unit.
For Warranty work we DO NOT require a deposit for the diagnostic fee. However if the unit is not cover under warranty and repairs are declined, The customer will be responsible for the diagnostic fee of $50.00, plus any shipping cost if the unit /items have to be shipped back.
Disclaimer
1.In accordance to the warranty coverage provided by manufacture of the unit you purchased. Regular maintenance, tune-ups, adjustments, or normal wear and tear are not covered under this warranty. Warranty is not applicable if the engine has been altered or modified or if the serial number has been removed or defaced. This warranty does not cover engine damage or performance problems caused by:
- The use of parts aren’t original parts to the equipment
- Operating engine with insufficient, contaminated, or an incorrect grade of lubricating oil;
- Fuel issues, such as: the use of contaminated or stale fuel, (water and dirt in fuel), gasoline formulated with ethanol greater than 10%, the use of alternative fuels such as liquefied petroleum or natural gas on engines not originally formed by the maker of equipment;
- Dirt that entered engine due to improper air cleaner maintenance or reassembly
- Striking objects with cutter blade of rotary lawn mower, lose or improperly installed blade, impellers, or other crankshaft coupled devices or excessive v-belt tightness
- Associated parts or assemblies such as clutches, transmissions, equipment controls, etc.
- Overheating due to grass, dirt and debris, or rodent nests which plug or clog the cooling fins or flywheel area, operating the engine without enough ventilation;
- Excessive vibration due to over-speeding, loose engine mounting, lose or unbalanced cutter blades or impellers or improper coupling of equipment components to the crank shaft;
